Northern Telecom offers two integrated voicemail platforms for the Norstar family.
Both systems connect directly to the Norstar KSU and provide transparent voicemail
integration, including message waiting indication on all Norstar digital telephone sets.

Norstar Flash is an embedded voicemail module that plugs directly into
the Norstar KSU. Flash provides fully integrated voicemail for the Norstar
system without requiring a separate PC or server. It is the original integrated
voicemail solution for the Norstar family.
Flash provides each user with a personal voicemail mailbox accessible from any
telephone via the Norstar feature code. Key capabilities include:
■ Personal voicemail mailboxes
■ Auto-attendant / greetings
■ Message waiting indicator

■ Remote message retrieval
■ Message forwarding
■ Multilingual prompts

Flash is accessed by pressing Feature 9* from any Norstar set,
or by dialing the Flash extension number from an external line.

To access your mailbox: Press Feature 9*, enter your mailbox number and password.
Default password: The mailbox number (change on first login).

CallPilot is Northern Telecom's next-generation voicemail and
unified messaging platform. Unlike Norstar Flash, CallPilot runs on a
dedicated server and offers a significantly expanded feature set designed
for businesses with more complex communications requirements.
CallPilot integrates tightly with the Norstar KSU and provides all of the
same seamless features as Flash (message waiting indication, single-button
access, direct-to-voicemail transfer) while adding enterprise-grade capabilities:

CallPilot is accessed identically to Norstar Flash via Feature 9*,
